Abstrakt

The purpose of this article is to present the results of research on Namibian fathers’ participation in the care and upbringing of their children in the perception of children. The research was conducted among 504 Namibian children from selected schools in the capital of Namibia, Windhoek. It was revealed that a majority of children highly estimated their fathers’ role as educators, those who actively assist them in achieving their independence.
