„Ludzki mózg jest potężną imitującą maszyną”. Teoria mimetyczna a badania nad naturą imitacji w naukach kognitywnych

Abstrakt

W niniejszym artykule podjęto próbę ukazania relacji, jakie zachodzą pomiędzy teorią mimetyczną René Girarda a badania nad naturą imitacji w naukach kognitywnych. Praca zostało podzielona na 4 części. W pierwszej zdefiniowano podstawowe pojęcie teorii francuskiego myśliciela – pojęcie pragnienia mimetycznego na tle takich pojęć jak mimikra biologiczna, kulturowa i mimetyzm psychologiczny. W drugiej nawiązano do badań w zakresie psychologii rozwojowej nad zachowaniami naśladowczymi noworodków. W trzeciej ukazano, w jaki sposób zachowania naśladowcze znajdują swoje odzwierciedlenie w aktywności neuronów. W czwartej przedstawiono najnowsze wyniki badań, które w sposób bezpośredni odnoszą się teorii pragnienia mimetycznego René Girarda.
